Cape Town Soul Yoga Adventure

Soul Yoga Treats are restorative mini-retreats for a holistic Chill-out. Deep stretch yoga to breathe, meditate and immerse in deep relaxation. Spiced with powerful yogic practices to stimulate natural revitalisation. Supplemented with energising complimentary therapies to support stress release and rejuvenation.

Sample itinerary: Beach yoga, meditation, walk or jog at sunrise. Juice tea or coffee. 9 AM yoga class. Introduction to therapy of the day (craniosacral, reiki or coaching). Smoothy and snacks. Deep relaxation and meditation session for group. Free time and lunch, while individual therapies proceed. Stress release and meditation workshop. Tea. Restorative yoga class. Beach walk. Closing yoga-meditation.

Soul Yoga Adventure Daytrips activities in nature, with an easy hike and yoga class in surrounding mountain, a beach location and urban beach walk. A perfect blend of activities for persons who also want to experience a holistic Body, Mind and Soul connection. A moderate fitness level required.

Sample itinerary: Short hike up Muizenberg Mountain for a sunrise yoga class. Juice. Walk on the contour path to Kalk Bay village, one of the top tourist destinations in the world, to enjoy 30 – 60 minutes free time. Meet up for yoga on a nearby beach, brave the cold water for a swim if you are up to that. Smoothy and snacks. Walk along the ocean to Muizenberg, lunch and rest at the studio. Chill-out and stretch, breathe and relax session. Tea. Activity. Closing with a mindful, peaceful session at studio.

Weekend dates and times

The Chill-out Treats are Saturdays, and the Adventure Daytrips on Sundays.
We operate mid year to spring, when the weather conditions are cool but less windy, and the sun mild.
Our day of fun and rest is from sunrise to late afternoon. First light is about 7 AM and actual sunrise approximately 7.45. Sun sets around 5.45 PM.

More about the Soul Yoga vibe…

We take it easy but take it: enjoy healthy juices, smoothies, snacks, a hearty lunch. We go with flexible arrangements depending on weather, and the interests and abilities of particpants – each event is unique, with a focus on a yoga workshop or a therapy. Muizenberg is Cape Town’s most popular surf spot and the picturesque area a premier authentic local, Cape Town and international tourist destination.

Add-ons: Cranio-sacral therapy, reiki or coaching and surf lessons (for group or individual) at an additional charge on request.
A bit of free time… while the program is not jam packed with busyness there is limited availability of free time. Saturdays has time to rest at the studio, or explore the village or Surfers Corner, or for add-on’s: surf lesson or therapies. Sundays offer free time to explore Kalk Bay area, and add-on’s as Saturday. There is no obligation to participate in all activities.
