Cape Town International Yoga Day 2017

Cape Town International Yoga Day 2017 is celebrated with three separate festivals, on three dates, at different locations. The all day event in Muizenberg is the only one on actual yoga day. It starts early morning with a free sunrise beach session, includes workshops and class, community skills development, children’s yoga for after school, and an exciting and unique Experience of Yoga & Live Music and Consciousness Dance from 5 – 10 PM.

● Cape Town International Centre (CTICC) is Saturday 17th 2017, two sessions 08h30-13h30 and 14h00-19h00.
● The Consulate General of India, Cape Town presents Sunday, 18th at Samaj Centre Hall, Gatesville, 8.30 – 10.30 AM. A screening of a short film, a performance of some basic
yoga asanas by all, and a demonstration of more difficult yogic asanas.

The United Nations declared 21st June as the International Day of Yoga in 2014. This year this important day will be celebrated in all 193 member countries of the UN.
