Restore your connection with inner peace

A retreat is a great start to effortlessly experience and explore inner peace, and help you maintain that connection alive in your day-to-day living. Read my blog on True inner peace.
The kind of practice we will do is based on an effortless meditation, read about it in my short blog Go within.

The energy of a retreat venue, i.e. the integrity of the space, owners and managers of the venue, is vital. Visit the Fynbos Estate website and see for yourself :-))
The Thursday 24th is a public holiday (Heritage Day) – so you only have to take off from work the Friday.

● 3 meals and 2 teatimes per day
● Includes a one-on one yoga consultation, a cranio-sacral bodywork therapy and Zen coaching session

I am fascinated with the physciality of alignment, and exploring energetic practices that may assist with alignment. Awareness of how life is expressed in the body, or how we are in the body, and in the world, is a vital aspect of well-being. Wellness, or health, of the whole being, means “making whole of all…

  • Lightness of being

I often wonder what it sounds like when persons talk about stuff like “light bodies” to others who are not so accustomed to such things. • What the yogi sees

Atha yoga anushasanam! The view of the chakras and energy fields have been invisible to most human beings for a long, long time. Including yoga practitioners. We may be on the mat, or on meditation cushions, but we are also in a society that has literally zero belief in the esoteric core of metaphysical yoga….

  1. Hi Johann. this looks like just what I need, just do not like the yoga where one is upside down head facing the wall………………..I have been through a really tough time emotionally over the past 3 years until recently sitting at my little sisters bedside until she passed. I felt at peace at the time as she had suffered with multiple myeloma for some time, had a stem cell transplant. I had made her journey part of mine understandably since we treasured our close sibling relationship. I have never felt such pain ever and her wish for me always was to ‘live in the now’ almost her last words to me prior going to intensive care. So since I promised to watch over her 3 young daughters and husband, only watch over and not too much, I have a wonderful life but need healing. This time is about right as I will be able to afford the break then. I have read your details and reckon I should try and make the early bird special. Would appreciate knowing more about the few days retreat in September. Thanks so much x Leigh

    1. Apologies Leigh, for such late reply. This retreat could be just the thing for you. Most of my classes are with healing intent, and the weekend is meant to be relaxing. There will be some stronger sessions on the retreat but nothing impossible. One can skip those anyway. Early Bird still possible – me not checking the comments on the page!

  2. Hi J, just need to check with my mom when she will be visiting us here in Cape Town. Then will let you know. Can I still qualify for the early bird special if I book by EOD tomorrow?
