Divine yoga consciousness
For me “the divine” is a state of expansion and inclusion, i.e. holistic. It’s not “higher”, rather exalted while also including the “lower realms”.
In yoga this may mean “union”, all aspects of the whole. One may think of it as an inner state of consciousness that includes everything. A state reached in meditation, also a state of being. The reason we learn in yoga to look within for calm guidance beyond the dazzle, madness and sadness of the world.
Get to this centre and false self disappears, along with your name, occupation and identifying with religion, politics, science, or any belief system. While those are all aspects of the whole none of those are the whole, and should not dominate how we are.
Doing hatha yoga or just looking at the sun and moon may help one transform ordinary realities that tend to dominate ones awareness, into ancient wisdom and techniques born of consciousness practices. There are other practices, of course. But yoga is a great tool to at once help one soften, and generate a powerful focus and strong ability to pave the road of transformation into consciousness, as well as “being consciousness” itself.
Much of my music was produced for meditation, or to just assist with experiencing higher states of awareness, more easily.
